The Brahma Kumaris have been partnering with the Earth Day organisation to promote the awareness of our responsibility towards the Earth.
The theme for this year's Earth Day, on the 22nd of April 2024 is Planet vs Plastic. Along with many others from various faith traditions and interfaith organisations the Brahma Kumaris are also key partners in celebrating Earth day throughout our networks. You may choose any relevant topic under this theme to create an event, and you may choose your own theme as well. We request you to kindly organise events on either Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st or Monday 22nd April.

Please register your event on the website of the Earth Day network https://www.earthday.org/actions/register-your-earth-day-event/ Kindly also send news of the event to environment@brahmakumaris.org and ecoshanti@brahmakumaris.com An easy suggestion is to hold World Meditation Hour on the third Sunday of April as "Global Meditation for Change ''. Below is a poster you may adapt and use to invite friends and contacts. In the programme you may offer a guided meditation for healing our earth with vibrations of respect, gratitude, love, peace and purity. You can keep a model of the Earth, or project an image of the Earth and also incorporate music and silence.
