Welcome to the Brahma Kumaris Clean Park, a site for solid waste management, where sustainability is achieved by integrating technology and spirituality.
Shifting towards effective waste management not only mitigates environmental issues but also harnesses waste for energy and agriculture, enhancing the well-being of communities.
All types of biodegradable waste at the Brahma Kumaris campuses in Abu Road will be segregated, transported, and processed through a biogas digester to generate both biogas and liquid manure. The biogas will be utilized for electricity generation, while the organic fertilizer will be used for farming and gardens.
The rest of the dry waste, after segregation will be reused or recycled.
The project has been designed and is executed by the Brahma Kumaris and World Renewal Spiritual Trust (WRST). The commissioning of the plant is planned for the first quarter of 2024.
