20.11 meeting christina Palmer low res smallThe 14th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 14) is being held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from 17 to 29 November 2018.  Brahma Kumaris have sent a high level team to this event and, as well as having an exhibition stand, they have organised and attended side events that have proven popular.  They have also met a number of VIPs.

BioCOP14 EgyptBrahma Kumaris are participating in the biannual UN COP conference for Biodiversity for the 4th time.  The theme of Care and Compassion for Biodiversity will be shared via a new leaflet, a permanent exhibition and two side events.

WED India2018Across India, more than 30 Brahma Kumaris centres celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm.  Many hundreds of people were taught new ideas about protecting the environment.  A photo report was prepared of the events.
